The senior marketing operator you can’t afford to hire full-time.
Dida Labs provides fractional CMO leadership to fintech, Web3 and token ecosystems — one or two days a week, embedded with your team. Delivered by founder Simon Fletcher, who ran narrative through a $65m ICO and closed a $100m partnership CEO-to-CEO.
No marketing lead, no budget for one
The founder is doing all the explaining, and it doesn’t scale past them.
Pre-seed to Series A
Fintech, payments, Web3, token ecosystems, RWA, rewards, marketplaces, sports tech.
One to two days a week
Embedded, not advisory. Strategy plus the judgement calls in between.
€6,000 per month
Three-month minimum, then rolling. Direct with the founder, no account layer.
What the role actually covers.
A full-time CMO at this level costs €120,000 and up, plus equity. Most early companies need the judgement far more than they need the hours.
Positioning and messaging. Who the buyer is, what problem you own, and the order the proof lands in. This is the layer everything else depends on, and it is where most of the value sits.
Go-to-market. Which channels are worth your money at your stage, and which are a distraction sold to you by people who sell them.
Partnerships and BD narrative. The story a partner’s CEO has to repeat internally once you leave the room. Deals die in that room, not in yours.
Investor narrative. The raise story, the update cadence, and the difference between traction and noise.
Founder content. Turning what you already know into the reason people take the meeting.
Managing whoever does the work. Agencies, freelancers, a first marketing hire — briefed properly and held to a standard, so you stop paying for output nobody asked for.
Where the judgement comes from.
Operator seats, not agency ones.
How it starts.
Where the story loses people, which channels are wasting money, and what the next ninety days should actually contain. Delivered as a decision document, not a deck.
Positioning, buyer narrative and proof sequencing rewritten and applied to the site, the deck and outbound.
Partner and investor narrative, founder content, channel decisions, and managing whoever executes. Weekly contact, always direct.
Not a fit if…
Worth saying plainly before either of us spends a call.
You already have a marketing lead who owns strategy. You want someone to execute campaigns rather than decide them. You need paid media bought and optimised day to day. Or you want a brand refresh with no commercial problem behind it. In each case there is a better and cheaper option than me, and I will say so on the call.
Questions.
How is this different from an agency?
An agency sells you output. A fractional CMO decides what output is worth making, then holds whoever makes it to a standard. Dida Labs is deliberately one senior operator — no account manager, no team you never meet.
Do you do the work, or only advise?
Both, deliberately. The positioning, narrative and investor story I write myself. Execution volume goes to freelancers or your team, briefed and reviewed by me.
What if we only need one project?
Then take the €1,200 Signal Audit or the Market Signal Sprint instead. Fixed scope, no commitment.
Why a three-month minimum?
Because month one is diagnosis and month two is repair. Judging this on thirty days would be judging it before it has done anything.
What does it cost?
€6,000 a month for one to two days a week, three-month minimum, then rolling monthly. No setup fee.
Need the judgement without the headcount?
Book twenty minutes, direct with the founder.
